O Canada

Last weekend Adam and I took our first international trip together. It was huge! We drove the hundred miles to the Canadian border on Friday night, flashed our passports at the border patrol and we were in. We used airbnb to book our room and, yes, loved it. We didn't do as much as we had hoped because somebody (points finger at self) was in charge of planning and kind of took the "oh, we'll figure it out when we get there approach". But here's what we got around to doing.

Vancouver Temple where Adam was looking very Euro with no belt
We rented bikes and rode around Stanley Park. So cool!
Vancruiser
Stumbled across this beachAdam took about a million pictures and a good majority of the biking ones were of this variety.
This was the best one if that tells you anything.

I like to imagine someone lives up there
Oh, you know. Just a giant wooden picture frame.
This is what Adam called my "exposure therapy trip". What a lucky girl I am.
Almost cracked under our weight, I'm mostly sure.
About to get on the suspension bridge. People die on this bridge! Okay, it was one high schooler. Who was on LSD. And climbed over the fence. But, ya know. It could happen to you.

Adam snapped this picture while I was racing to the other side.
Do you see a loose board under there? Is it just me?

It was a much needed break for both of us and a much deserved break for Adam who had just taken his medical boards the day before we went. Go Adam! Now he is working 14-16 hour days at the hospital and is doing his first overnight shift tonight (why do you think I'm blogging right now?). So, no more coming home to a clean house and a warm meal for me. Sigh...I guess the honeymoon's really over now.

Nope! I'll never admit to that!

PS...Do you like how Adam cracks up at his own joke?
